I was going to post over the Thanksgiving break but we had family in town and Austin has been in this strange mood where if anyone else is around he HAS to be in my arms. I mean at one point we were in the mall and I let him out of the stroller to sit in these chair while I looked at some clothes 2 feet away and Angie walked towards him like she was going to pick him up and he started screaming, and the only way to get him to stop was for me to pick him up. You should have seen the people in the store staring at me, like I was the only person who's child has ever thrown a fit. Give e a break I was in gymboree people not Neimans.
Anyways i hope you all had a great Turkey day. We did we got up and did the Turkey trot and Allie walked the whole thing. The home to clean up and a quick nap for Austin then over to my mom's to eat and them my aunt's for desserts and then back to my mom's. it was busy but fun. On Friday we got up and went to Walmart and Target around 9 (which was actually not that busy) I think we missed the big rush. We were mostly looking for deals on toys for an angel we got of the salvation army tree and for gifts for 3 trees out church's big community outreach event. Allie helped me pick out toys and I think she is starting to get it. In fact that night at bed time when we were saying prayers I asked Allie what she was thankful for that day (we do this everyday and and it is always fun to see what she says). That night she said she was thankful that we got to buy toys for kids who don't have any. Oh how it made my heart melt.
I will try and update more this month we are already in the busy time, but thankfully the house is decorated and I am almost done with the shopping. We have 2 parties this weekend and Allie and I have a mother daughter tea to go to so, I am sure we will be busy. Hope you all are having a good week (now I have got to get back to work).

The photos are GREAT! I'm glad you guys had a nice Thanksgiving! I think when people react like that when someone else's child throws a fit, they are just relieved that it's not their kid and it makes them feel better about themselves to contribute to another Mom's misery...it's pathetic, really.
